Makeup Fetish exists because beauty should be fun, inclusive, and empowering. We take the safety of our community seriously and invest in both technology and human moderation to protect our members.

Every person deserves to express themselves without fear of harassment, discrimination, or abuse. We enforce our guidelines consistently and transparently, and we listen to our community to continuously improve our safety practices.

What is welcome

Authentic beauty content, tutorials, and looks
Honest product reviews and recommendations
Constructive feedback and beauty discussions
Swatches and comparisons on diverse skin tones
Original content and credited reposts
Body-positive and inclusive messaging
Creator promotions and affiliate links (disclosed)

What is not allowed

Harassment, bullying, or hate speech of any kind
Non-consensual sharing of personal information
Spam, scams, or misleading product claims
Sexually explicit or violent content
Discrimination based on race, gender, body type, or identity
Undisclosed paid promotions or fake reviews
Impersonation of other users or brands
Copyright infringement

How to Report

Find the content

Navigate to the post, comment, profile, or message you want to report.

Open the menu

Tap the three-dot menu icon on the content, or visit the Report page directly.

Select "Report"

Choose the type of violation from the options provided.

Add details

Provide any additional context or screenshots to help us investigate.

Submit

We will review your report within 24 hours and take action if needed.

Block and Mute

Blocking

Blocked users cannot see your profile, posts, or activity
They cannot message you or comment on your content
You will not see their content anywhere on the platform
To block: visit their profile, tap the menu, select "Block"

Muting

Muted users will not appear in your feed or notifications
They can still see and interact with your content
They will not know they have been muted
To mute: visit their profile, tap the menu, select "Mute"

Privacy Controls

You are in control of your data and visibility. Access these settings from Profile > Settings > Privacy.

Private Profile

Only approved followers can see your looks and activity. Your bio and photo remain visible.

Message Controls

Choose who can message you: everyone, followers only, or nobody.

Comment Filtering

Enable keyword filters to automatically hide comments containing specific words.

Activity Visibility

Control whether others can see your likes, comments, and follows in their feeds.

Data Downloads

Request a full download of your data at any time from Account Settings.

Account Deletion

Permanently delete your account and all associated data within 30 days.

Anti-Bullying Policy

Makeup Fetish has zero tolerance for bullying. This includes but is not limited to: body shaming, skill shaming, product shaming, mockery of someone's appearance, coordinated pile-ons, and subtweeting or vague-posting intended to target another user.

First offense: Warning and content removal.Second offense: 7-day suspension.Third offense: Permanent ban.

Severe cases (threats, doxxing, hate speech) result in immediate permanent bans and may be reported to law enforcement.
